Don't be a Sucker!!!

Ever go to a game (professional or not) and have to sit by someone who is a little more vocal than you care for them to be? I never realized just how loud some parents can be even at this level of our 9 and Under team (and I'm not talking about the positive kind of "loud"). Luckily our parents are aware of these sweet little treats that are available at every game we play....what are they for you ask? Well if you are heard sharing your negative thoughts(whether at the Umpire, Coaches, opposing team or even our players), you'll find yourself with a sucker in your mouth. Studies show that if you occupy your vocal apparatus with something, then it limits the amount of negative verbal communication. Sound crude? We are firm believers that you practice what you teach and this is no different. We are working diligently on a team that mimics our "Athletes of Character" moto and if we are setting a bad example, then what are our players going to learn?

So with that said, don't be a sucker....or you'll find one politely handed to you....
